About the Getön introduction tour:
This two-day introduction tour is of a very easy level and intended for young families or persons without camping experience who want to experience a canoe trip with wild camping. During this tour you decide the pace and distance yourself. You paddle over two connected lakes around Värmlandgården, so you are always close to ‘home’. There is plenty of time to swim, fish, make a fire and explore.
You spend the night on the uninhabited island Getön. Getön is about 10 minutes by boat from the campsite. On the island there are enough places to set up your tent and several campfire places. There is also an eco-toilet on the island.
Suitable for: Young families / non-experienced campers
Level: Very easy going
Distance: 2 till 10 kilometer

Instructions about the equipment and route: The day before departure or on day 1
Day 1: Start tour between 09.00 and 14.00 from Värmlandsgården
Day 2: On the second day we expect you back at Värmlandsgården before 17.00
