About the Deglunden tour:
This two-day tour is of a very easy level and intended for families or persons without camping experience who want to experience a canoe trip with wild camping. During this tour you decide the pace and distance yourself. You paddle over two connected lakes around Värmlandgården so you are always close to ‘home’. With some luck you can spot deer, crane birds or other wildlife along the way. How fast you go and how far you go is up to you. Along the way you can take the time to swim, fish, make a fire and explore uninhabited islands and riverbanks.
Part of the fun is that during the trip you will camp out in nature. On the several uninhabited islands and riverbanks, you can find countless beautiful places to pitch your tent or hang your hammock. Making a fire is only allowed on existing fireplaces and when weather conditions permit.
